Pretty Gritty is a small, Tacoma-based creative brand and collective. By using our website, purchasing our products, or collaborating with us, you agree to the following terms. We’ve kept them straightforward on purpose.


1. General
Pretty Gritty operates as a creative retail brand and collaborative platform. We sell original products and occasionally partner with local creatives on commission-based releases.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted here. If you continue to use the site, that means you’re cool with the updates.


2. Products & Availability
All products are produced in small batches. Availability is limited and items may sell out without notice.
We do our best to accurately display colors, materials, and details, but screens vary and handmade items may include natural variations. That’s part of the deal.


3. Orders & Payments

  • All prices are listed in USD

  • Payment is required at checkout

  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason (including suspected fraud or errors)

If there’s an issue with your order, we’ll do our best to resolve it quickly and fairly.


4. Shipping
We ship orders as promptly as we can, usually within a stated processing window. Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees.
Pretty Gritty is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or circumstances outside our control.
Once an order has shipped, responsibility transfers to the carrier.


5. Returns & Exchanges
Because many items are limited-run or made in collaboration, all sales are final unless otherwise stated.
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.
We’re human. If something feels off, reach out — we’ll talk it through.


6. Collaborations & Creative Work
Pretty Gritty collaborates with artists and creatives on a selective, commission-based basis.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Creators retain ownership of their original work

  • Pretty Gritty is granted permission to produce, sell, and promote the agreed-upon products

  • Commission rates and terms are discussed directly with collaborators

We don’t claim ownership over your creative work. We care about fair relationships more than rigid rules.


7. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, images, designs, logos, and products — belongs to Pretty Gritty or its collaborators unless otherwise noted.
Please don’t copy, reproduce, or use our work without permission. If you want to collaborate, just ask.


8. Use of the Site
By using this site, you agree not to:

  • Use it for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to disrupt or exploit the site

  • Misrepresent your identity

We reserve the right to restrict access if needed.


9. Liability
Pretty Gritty is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages resulting from the use of our site or products.
Everything is provided “as is,” and use is at your own discretion.


10. Privacy
We respect your privacy. We only collect information necessary to process orders, communicate with you, or improve the experience.
We do not sell your personal data.
